Sea Safety : Advisory Group
The Safety on the Sea group acts as the sea safety advisory group in the Forum. The Group was set up to co-ordinate safety messages for sea users, primarily aimed at the public but also including the commercial fishing industry, because they were a concern. The members of the group include the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Royal Yachting Association, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, British Marine Federation and The Royal Life Saving Society UK. The group has been pro-active in producing safety guidelines and videos using the 'Safety on the Sea' banner.
